Turner House

Melbourne, Australua

Turner House is a striking double-fronted Victorian residence, originally built in 1890. From the classic brick façade to the converted stables overlooking a lush garden in the rear of the home, this home has significant period charm throughout.

Our design approach will preserve the home's inherent charm while introducing carefully curated midcentury and modern furnishings pieces that bring depth, interest, and personality. The overall palette will embrace neutral tones - browns, beiges, and wood hues - as well as introducing muted reds and yellows, modernizing the interior. More vibrant colours will be strategically layered through art, linens, and smaller furnishings.

Our clients hold a deep appreciation for art and hence paintings, objects, and sculptural lighting will serve as impactful statement pieces in each room, drawing attention and adding character. The outcome will be a refined period home with contemporary sophistication.

Bedroom concept featuring an elegant antique dresser, vibrant abstract art above the mantle, a luxurious cashmere-colored pendant, hand-blown glass sconce, breezy linen curtains, a zigzag statement chair, merging classic charm with modern flair.
Opulent study designed in rich jewel tones, boasting an antique desk with marble plinth and a striking rose wall sculpture over the mantle. A lush burgundy rug complements the space, illuminated by antique lighting.
